Summary/Objective
The Business Development, Marketing and Public Relations Manager is responsible for developing a pipeline of work through preparing and submitting proposals.
This position will also oversee the marketing efforts for the organization.
Essential Functions

Work alongside management and bid team to develop bid strategies, competitive advantages and win themes
Forecast 3-5 years in advance by taking an active approach towards identifying opportunities
Coordinate and communicate with subject matter experts, as well as potential subcontractors, to provide written technical narrative required by the proposal or solicitation.
Identify opportunities for bid submissions and raising them with the management team
Ensure responses are compliant with the contract requirements and incorporate the latest developments, legislation, and best practice.
Analyze and respond to pre-qualifications, request for information (RFIs), registrations of interest (ROIs)
Update and maintain library of proposal documents and other information on internal database.
Contribute to process improvement
Craft persuasive and detailed proposals – facilitate presentations.
Ability to write succinct and compelling content.
Ensure consistency of style, content, and message throughout.
Develop advertising strategies that promote products or services to specific audiences
Creating and delivering of all marketing material, product development, public relations using all forms of media and communications
Improve and maintain the image of the company
Building and maintaining key stakeholder, customer, and vendor relationships
Perform other duties as reasonably assigned

Competencies and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management or Communications is required
5 years of direct experience required
Experience as a bid writer is preferred
Must be able to provide writing sample as requested
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment.
The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, hourly position.
Hours of Operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.
m.
to 5:30 p.
m.
However, due to operational needs, may be required to work before or after normal hours of operations, on weekends or holidays.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
