Summary
Develops, implements, and manages marketing projects and strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives of Coast360 Federal Credit Union.
Executes communication plan that effectively disseminates key messages to employees, members, community and media.
Responsible for assisting in production of internal/external market research, data analysis and distribution, report creation, marketing investment tracking and website analytics for the purpose of providing management with tools or strategic analysis and planning.

Collaborates with Marketing Manager and key business leaders to develop and implement a strategic communication plan that supports the mission, vision, and business objectives Creating new and innovative ways to communicate the company message to members and prospects.
Preparing, planning and project managing the publication of all publicity material to maximize brand promotion.
Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.
Project Management Create marketing campaigns and working with the Credit Union’s external advertising agency to see them executed.
Works with writers and artists and oversees copywriting, design, layout, paste-up, and production of promotional materials.
Coordinates and executes the credit union’s advertising and promotion activities including print, electronic and direct mail pieces to include coordinating placement of advertisements in radio, television and print ads.
Ensures marketing collateral and campaign training is executed effectively and in a timely manner.
Maintains communication on credit union digital communication platforms, including website, CODIGO and ATMs.
Ensures marketing messages for member statement, and electronic statements are done in a timely manner.
Community Development Recommends sponsorship, donations and advertising exposure.
Researches, develops, and implements lesson plans/educational programs within local schools, colleges and universities.
Develops and/or seeks partnership opportunities and ideas from conception through to delivery.
Delivers presentations and speeches, formally and/or informally, to various groups of people in an organization, school, or trade shows.
Attends credit union and community events out of normal operational hours.
Stays abreast of new and emerging community events that match organizational goals.
Research & Reports Prepares and complies marketing reports to utilize in marketing campaign planning and track/analyze the effectiveness of marketing efforts (ie.
ROI, demographics, market segments, etc.
).
Tracks responses to marketing initiatives campaign and research marketing tactics of competitors.
Gathers information and forecasts expenses for budgetary purposes in each marketing activity.
Tracks website and social media analytics for reporting to Marketing Manager.
Conducts market, product and cost analysis, rates and member surveys.
Other Duties Maintains knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance in marketing, advertising, products and services, and field of membership requirements.
Participate in team meetings to discuss marketing plan and future objectives of marketing goals.
Complies with Coast360 Federal Credit Union’s branding guidelines and credit union regulations.
Works directly with internal and external suppliers.
Maintain department files with current print and media samples related to campaigns/promotions.
Cross-sells credit union products and services.
Support Marketing Manager in day to day marketing activities.
Contribute to annual marketing plan.
Performs other duties as might be assigned from time to time.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Assists in supervising employees in the Marketing department.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the credit union’s policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; providing feedback and input for performance reviews; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Performance Standards: Must have an in-depth knowledge of marketing methodology, marketing research, event planning and coordination, writing, copy editing, and proof reading.
Utilizes interpersonal skills effectively in a team environment.
Creative and self-motivated, with the ability coordinate, produce and deliver an effective marketing program in support of the marketing strategic plan.
Displays leadership ability plus a professional attitude and appearance at all times.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to speak effectively before members, the community, or employees of the credit union.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid Driver’s License.
