I've used this 16" 2019 Macbook pro and it's been a workhorse.
Just upgraded to a new smaller machine, but yesterday I was running it with 8-10 different kinds of software open, literally 100 browser tabs open at the same time, while generating AI images on Photoshop or editing videos in Adobe Premiere Pro, etc (does *not* come with that software, fyi).
For its age, this thing is still a beast who can render HD video at high speed, etc.
It did have a small tumble last Summer that left two dents in the lid and one scrape on the corner (see images).
After that, Apple replaced the logic board (under AppleCare), and it's been working beautifully ever since.
That said, it comes with nearly 2YRS APPLECARE, as I renewed December.
I can transfer that to you.
That will cover any potential issues for that period — a huge advantage when buying used (otherwise, something could break a month later and you'd be out of luck).
Battery still goes for hours even with all that software running, but doesn't last quite as long as it used to, fyi.
That said, I can still crank with 10 apps open, working hard for hours without being plugged in.
