The position facilitates the efficient operation of assigned department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative functions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcomes and directs clients and visitors to appropriate person or area.
Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary.
Requires following instructions on memos; makes photocopies of correspondence or other printed material for distribution.
Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, monthly client statements and e-mail and faxes as necessary.
Distributes daily incoming mail and packages to employees.
Orders and maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
Organizes and maintains file system and files correspondence and other records.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school graduate or GED equivalent required.
College level course work a plus.
Two to five years of experience in an administrative role; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
Ability to work independently.
