Summary
The Accounting Associate II computes, classifies and records numerical data to maintain financial records and performs any combination of routine calculating, posting and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records.
S/he also ensures accuracy of figures, calculations and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Essential Functions
Performs complex level analysis and problem solving to assist in the development of business processes, products and services.
Analysis includes quantifiable and qualitative results
Identifies and uses analytical techniques to gather, assess and evaluate data
Prepares status updates and reports for management.
Reviews and interprets business functions
Conducts audits and quality control/assurance practices
Performs needs assessments
Works with constituents to develop concepts
Additional Responsibilities
Lend support to lower level analysts
Develop documentation and user manuals as directed
Function as a Team Lead, providing guidance and support to lower level employees
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
H.
S.
diploma/GED required
Associate's degree preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Four (4) years or more experience in accounting/financial with the H.
S.
Diploma required
Three (3) years or more of working experience with the Associates degree preferred
One (1) year or more of related experience with a Bachelor's degree preferred
Thorough knowledge of tasks and responsibilities advanced required

Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market
data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or
certifications, etc.
The salary for this position ranges from $58K to $62K
