Skills and attributes for success
Assist with entering client source transactions (checks, deposits, etc.
) to update the bookkeeping data file
Assist with account reconciliations on an as-needed basis
Process payroll, GRT returns, quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
Assist as needed with the entering of fixed asset activities with the FAS program
Assist with the preparation of annual tax returns to include forms 1096/1099
Assist with preparation of compiled financial statements
Provide support for seniors & managers to prepare annual trial balances as needed
To qualify for the role, you must have
Have or be working toward, a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
Relevant practical accounting or finance experience is a plus
Excellent verbal/written English communication skills
Knowledgeable in QuickBooks and basic Microsoft office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
